Best BK Pickups for a Rosewood Stratocaster?

Hey guys,

This is my first post. I'm on a mission to create my own unique stratocaster - I'm going to use a 1962 reissue stratocaster with an alder body, a USACG maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. I want to use BK pickups and having never used them before I could use an expert opinion on which pickups (H/S/S configuration) would suit this guitar best? For rhythm I'm very into playing funk and reggae, but as for lead (which I play more of) I play a blues/rock fusion, similar to David Gilmour or Jimi Hendrix - and sometimes some jazz and surf rock too.

Taking all of this into consideration, I'm sure it won't be too hard to find me something, haha!

The Mothers Milks seem like a good option, as do the apaches.

Mule/Mother's Milk would be nice combo. Personally I like hotter pickups in my strats like VHII, Abraxas and Crawler. The latter two ones split great for that F-quack on the fourth position.

- I have VHII/Mother's Milk in a Fender American Series strat - alder, maple neck, rosewood board
- my MXG custom strat -made by Patrick Eggle - is loaded with a Crawler/Irish Tours - swampash, maple neck, ebony fretboard

Everytime I line my strats up (all rosewood with Apache, Mother's Milk, Irish Tours and a 63 set) I end up with the 63 set everytime.  Hum-buckers - I like the Crawler!
