Had a day off from work couple of days ago so tried to do one of these things... more or less sloppy.  :shock:

Same settings on all the guitars. Same post-processing which is mostly only on the master track. The tracks are ROUGH, no noise gate applied.
Bridge pickups only.

Signal chain: Guitar -> TC Electronic Desktop Konnekt 6 -> Logic 9 (Amplitube 3 loaded)

The 'digital tonez' makes them differ less from each other but there's still noticeable differences IMO. A little tweaking some of the clips would've sounded better but I thought this might result more comparable tones.

All pickups sound preety good,but it is hearable that Painkiller got something that these other guys cant.Thanks for this video,it was very helpful to me,since Im in metal music also.Cheers! :shock:
