Ibanez, Miracle Men, Metal and Video Games
« on: March 23, 2013, 05:14:58 PM »
For a while now, I've been wanting to improve my amp recording and stop relying on POD Farm and VSTs to get my guitar tones. I've also been wanting to do more video game music covers. And I realized that I hadn't really done any clips with my Miracle Men, even though I've had them for ages. So here's all three!

Playing my Ibanez SZ4020 with Miracle Man calibrated set into an Engl Screamer combo, with an MXR Wylde OD boosting and recorded with an AKG D770. The cleans are both pickups, coil split for the main riff. The "lead" cleans are the neck humbucker and the backings are the bridge. The distortion is all bridge for the rhythm and the neck for the lead.

The song is "Uncharted Worlds" from the Mass Effect sountrack.
