I’m considering putting a Painkiller in the bridge and a Black dog in the neck of a Les Paul Studio. I like using both pickups for clean leads and I like to have the neck tone full on. Has anyone tried these pickups or similar pickups in the middle position for cleans? I’ve tried to find YouTube clips of people playing BKP’s clean, but to no avail… There are some people playing Duncan’s (for example a Distortion and a Jazz together or an Invader and a ‘59 together.
