new track - some metal with my Marshall JCM1 and Boss OD-1

Its a bit more rock than normal, and includes some of the gear I've been talking about on here lately, so I thought there might be at least a passing interest for one or two people.

I'd like to tweak some of the production since its not brilliant, but to be honest I'm more or less happy with its come-as-you-are sound.

Clean intro with chorus : Creamery Modern '58 + Bareknuckle VH2 mixed (Warmoth Jazzmaster)
Lead parts at 0m27s and 1m51s : Modern '58 (Warmoth Jazzmaster)
Rhythm part : Gibson Dirty Fingers ('84 Gibson Flying V)

For all parts I used a Marshall JCM1 head (0.1w mode, fully cranked) with Mesa Boogie Thiele cabs. Close mic'd with a Shure SM57 at 45 degrees to the grill cloth pointing at the edge of the dust cap.

For the lead parts I used a Thundertomate treble booster.

For the rhythm part I used a Boss SD-1 modded to OD-1 specs.

Yes, its an extremely convenient amp!

I have noticed recently that some guitar/pedal combinations do in fact sound a little different on it compared to my old 2204. Still sounds good though!
