My new musical project -- the prog epic (BKP/WezV content)
« on: April 21, 2013, 11:43:48 PM »
I would have put this in the Players forum, but there are only BKs on one section of the song (not intentional, just worked out that way).

I am writing quite a big progressive rock piece at the mo; this is Part Three; I hope you enjoy (those who can endure the entire thing) ... no vox yet (still looking for a singer at this time).

Well, here is the  latest section of the big prog piece. Enjoy!

Thanks!

The drums and base guitar parts were written in 2 hours and this is the 3rd take. Just played straight through, no punching.

The solos were all written by jamming over each section and I kept my favourite takes. Pseudo comp'd I suppose.

Synth parts were written after the rhythm guitars were built up.

Then tracked bass. Solos were last.
