I am from close to liverpool.
Most cities pale in comparison. New York has a lot of expectations to meet.
I am not 100% serious with these statements.

Wow, shocked by all these tales about immigration and border controls, I had no idea it was like that (I have been to the USA, but I was 12 so I guess I was unlikely to be seen as potential trouble....)

Anyway, have a good time, once you get in!

New York City don't mean nothing! :)

(some very sage advice in this song, too)

What bands are you going to see?
It wasn't a mistake, it was chromaticism, I swear.

Looks like the weather has decided to skip Spring again this year, so you are for a rare treat: a NYC Summer!

Is it not? haha. I should probably find out what that place is before I get to the border.

I'm back!
NYC was a blast. I did some power tourism one morning and walked to the Empire State Building, Times Square and Grand Central Station. I didn't much care for Times Square I have to say. The Hotel we stayed in was right by Madison Square Park. A short walk to Union Square and to Webster Hall. I had a ride to Santos Party House in China Town on the Friday. The weekend was spent at Webster Hall.

Monday we rode a Bolt Bus to Washington DC. DC was a blast. I saw a bunch of friends and went to a few museums.

Took an Amtrak to Newark which got held up 1.5 hours. Then my flight left a little late being being delayed 3.5 hours due to the nonsense with the plane catching fire at Heathrow. After I landed I went home for 2 hours and then got a bank holiday weekend train to liverpool. Euston was BONKERS. I've done enough travelling for a while... at least until I need to get back to London.
