Cheers guys,
so I decided to finally do a group pic of my favourite axes... hope you enjoy! :)
From left to right:
1964 Höfner 500/1 Violin Bass
This is the famous "Beatles Bass" popularized by Paul McCartney. My Grandfather gave it to me after he stopped playing. He's been using the instrument for years and as a musician he earned enough money with it to build the house I spent my youth in. As you can imagine, this instrument holds a lot of sentimental value to it, however it's not in a good condition right now. The neck has started to detach itself from the body (the glue of the neck joint failing and giving in to string tension after all the years) and as soon as I have some money aside I'm going to get it repaired. Needless to say that I'm looking forward to the day I can finally play it properly. :D
1993 Jackson Fusion Pro H-H
Got this guitar not too long ago, absolutely amazing instrument, was pretty much a steal. Currently loaded with a Painkiller and a Coldsweat, sounds amazing. More details in my NGD Thread:

This is my absolute workhorse guitar, no matter if it's used for practice or live performances, goes from sweet blues to bonecrushing metal and has a certain "mojo", or rather a part of my soul in it. (cheesy yeah I know ^^)
Got this as a present from my father for my 18th birthday, has an 30 year old air dried Hungarian Poplar Body and the Neck and the Fretboard are made out of 40 year old air dried Canadian Maple. Currently loaded with a Holydiver in the Bridge and Slowhands in Middle and Neck positions, I rewired it with Fender 500k CTS Pots, a BKP Paper in Oil Cap and removed the second Tone Knob to move the Volume farther away from the Bridge. Has "Carpe Noctem" written on the headstock on my request since when I spec-ed it out I used to spent my nights learning for school. Love it!
1962 Framus 5/132 Hollywood
Same thing with this baby like with the Höfner Bass. Got this from my grandfather after it's been in use for years. Has a really lovely sound, great for everything from clean to blues. Not sure about the pickups, might be Single Coils, but the Bridge has a certain bite to it, so I guess it might as well be something P-90esque. The Frets are pretty worn, so I will need to get that sorted out, but other than that it plays great.
Those are my absolute babys, hope you like them!
Cheers!
