Hey, hey folks!
So, I have this new build on the way and I need some pickup suggestions.
It's a strat-style mahogany body with a rosewood top, neck is either rosewood with ebony fingerboard or maple with ebony fingerboard. Fixed bridge.
I'm looking for note definition and clarity when playing with a bit of gain. Cleans aren't all that important, but would like something that has decent sounds when split.
I already have the VHII set in a few of my guitars and I love it to bits, just not sure if it would be right for this guitar :P
I'm guessing this guitar will probably be a bit dark sounding, so perhaps something bright?
