So, if everything goes as planned, I'll starting doing this V soon... but not sure on which top for it, what do you think???
It's a kinda surprise build, so I'm not unveilling much info :P

For me it'd be the spalt (but then I don't have to build it and it's apparently not the nicest thing in the world to deal with). Also I'd turn it round to go with the V. I think that'd look very cool. Black burst finish like Wez did on the spalted Veteran.

Another vote for spalted. I think it will look better on a V than burl.

I was remembering the Schenker Brothers V, thought that was spalted but it's not.

Anyway, I vote for spalted too.

Tim has an amazing Case V with a burl top which is stunning and looks a bit like spalted.  It's even more impressive in real life.

Such a hard choice! Probably Spalted for a V, though. If it was a Tele or something I would have gone with Burl.

that looks like buckeye burl, always looks great.

Bad news!
I was applying cyanoacrilate glue on the top to harden it and the top is cracking all over... :(
