You're absolutely right Tony. Those "social" networks are everything but social. That's also the reason I deleted my facebook, I have "less" friends but those I have are really there for me. If someone needs something from me, I have a phone, give me a call and we can talk in person, grab a beer or drink a coffee together.
I also rather own something physically than only on my PC. If the computer brakes, you lose everything.
