ok, here's some Slayer riffs (and one of mine) with just the guitar by itself.  I've had a listen to this through my hifi and it's pretty close to how the amp does sound, I like this tone - lotsa bottom end  :D

Solid work, there. The third/last one is HTH's, and it wasn't sounding bad at all. I'd really love to be there to listen to it in person, as I know it'll be 10 times better - laptop speakers often don't cut the (metaphorical) mustard.

the last riff is mine, it's a bit of a South Of Heaven knockoff but different enough that I'll call it my own (heh)  :lol:

what I like about the tone here is that you can feel that big raw bass end and aggressive midrange - play it through your hifi and you'll get a better idea.

Wow that sounds alot different to the other clip! BLOODY HEAVY!  Loved the last riff aswell :twisted:
