I wonder if Tim will ever release a 'normal' version of these pickups.

I asked on facebook if there will perhaps someday be a variation of them for regular sale. His replay was when they are gone, they are gone.

You may have a couple of guitars that would suit them but the same could be said for most of what's apparently under your bed!  :D

The guitars under the bed are all bolt-ons.  I wouldn't put 'em in a bolt-on.  :lol:

There are lots of stray pickups too, of course, so the 10th Anniversaries wouldn't be strictly "necessary".....

I could resist no longer - they sound like exactly what I am after at the moment, so a set are ordered!  Didn't want to risk missing them given they are apparently nearly all gone.  Went for brushed nickel, potted.

my preference would definitely be for nickel covers, i don't normally like gold covers, but the guitar i intend to put these in is all gold.  I hope they sound great in it, because i don't want to move them!  but i'm sure they will be excellent :)

just have in mind that raw nickel gets heavily aged in like 3 months of moderate use
the raw nickel look stays consistent for much longer
