Why do pretty much all pedal board power supplies only have 8 outputs?  You can fit more than 8 pedals on even the smallest board...

You can run more than one pedal on a single output, as long as the total current draw doesn't exceed the output's rating. Hint : gain pedals usually have quite low current draw... (nb : I assume you're talking about isolated outputs PSUs - else it's really one single output with builtin daisychain).
