It is like the name St John pronounced Sinjin or Sian pronounced Sharn or Xcjjg pronounced Pete ( well I made that last one up). My youngest son lives in Ireland( why is it that both of my sons live in different countries to me- was I that bad a father?) and he can decipher Gaelic and did explain it all to me once. It sounds nice when he says it and is a poetic language by the sounds of things.

The elder one lives in Columbus Ohio, USA. Excellent pianist and wonderful singer and writes great songs but doesn't care for the music business much.

yes that is him Sambo. He is not playing at the moment as he can't afford a decent keyboard but if I can get him one I'd love to as he could earn himself good money. He had a great band when he lived here and used to go down a storm wherever he played but he did not like the cr@p that comes with it.

you fu c kwit, siobhan is an irish name.

Chevaun is an anglicisation because it's easier to pronounce when it's spelt phonetically.

Gah.

don't worry guys, its obviously just another drunk irishman with tourettes.

Why didn't the irish spell it rightly the first time? Seriously, being irish is no excuse for poor spelling...or is it?

but the thing is, thru and through are somewhat related - kinda look the same. chevaun and Siobhan are completely unrelated, haha.
