I wanted to see what the community thinks of this, especially any luthiers that could shed some light on the validity of the claim.  I'm not sure that I'm convinced, but I also don't have a knowledge base regarding this topic.  Also, if everyone thinks that this product could work in theory, I suppose the next question would be, "How noticeable would the difference be?"

FU other products are pretty solid, I have noticed a huge increase in sustain and a much larger sound with my guitars that have the brass block installed in the trem, so if this claim sounds feasible, I'd like to give it a try.

It's interesting. 

I was wondering how you're supposed to adjust the height, but presumably the hex bolt in the centre adjusts to make contact with the base of the pickup (and helps conduct all those "natural resonant frequencies"), then you tighten the two screws at the ends to lock everything in place.

I don't know if it improves tone or not, but it would be good if they made a multi-purpose version to suit P-90s and mini-humbuckers too.  It would make installation of those pickups easier, regardless of any sonic benefits.

I have to say it smells a bit like snake oil to me - but I'm not yet 100% sure. Yes, guitar pups do pickup some of the acoustic too (more or less depending on the pups), but that's air pressure, not wood's (or any other material) vibration. Not to say this shouldn't have any impact on the resulting tone, but this doesn't necessarily mean it will "amplifies the wood’s natural resonant frequencies, energizes the tone of your guitar and optimizes the sonic range of your pickup" (which is where I stopped reading, too much marketing bullsh!t in a single sentence as far as I'm concerned).

tl;dr: I'll wait until someone I really trust try and approve it, then I'll possibly try it by myself - except I don't have any guitar with direct mount :lol:

I can actually see this working to a cetain degree. When i got my Ibanez RGD a few years back the pickups just had standard wood screws to hold them down and the underside was completely packed with foam. The guitar had a really dull rolled of high end. I was told by a member on this forum i believe about this foam and when i removed it the top end really opened up.
