It would be best to contact the BKP customer service about it and what can be done (new covers maybe?). They are very helpful.

pure isopropyl alcohol and a yellow cloth. (must be yellow or the universe will explode) hope that helps. Ben.

The Tyger covers start off as raw Nickel so with use, sweat and most likely beer, you will find that they will discolour although I have never heard of them going green until now!

There isn't any copper in the covers or plating, is there?  That's what I'd expect to go green.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Mine went green too but it nicely matches the abalone binding on my guitar XD

my sweat is brutal however. eats through elixir strings in about a month or so

well, metal parts rust, it won't be different with any company. personally i'm used to it, my shiny gold seymour duncan covers are now a tattered mess but still have the same tone.

there's probably a way to clean it, but personally it never bothered me.

My black battleworn Painkiller and Coldsweat covers have rusted as well (at least the hex screws did) and they fit the rusted hex screws of my Jacksons Floyd perfectly. I personally don't bother about such things as this adds character to the guitar and shows it has been played and someone has put a part of his soul into the instrument. I play my grandfathers 62' Framus Hollywood which is older than me and shows marks of use over the course of the years, but it tells a story. I never understood why anyone would buy a reliqued guitar. Buy it brand new and go on an adventure with it.
