Last week I ordered Chapman ML1 guitar (Rob Chappers signature) and I received it today. It is a mahogany (w. maple top) HSS superstrat with a maple recessed bolt-on neck, ebony fingerboard and a Wilkinson tremolo.

So far I'm liking it a lot and I'm definitely keeping it but the pickups, although not bad, do not suit my taste. I have a spare Seymour Duncan Little '59 for the neck and want to get a BKP Black Dog HB for the bridge and a Slow Hand SC for the middle. I'm looking for a "vintage hot" type of sound with medium output and a classic rock voicing so I guess these should work well.

However, I'm a bit concerned whether the wiring will work OK with the new pickups. Currently the guitar is wired with a 3-way switch, 1 global 500k volume pot and 1 global push-pull tone pot (don't know the value) with which you get 6 different pickup combinations. Here's a pic:

My question is can I replace the pickups directly without having to install new pots, caps and/or changing the wiring scheme? The Lil '59 is a humbucker but is designed to replace a single coil and works with 250k pots.

Any opinions and suggestions will be much appreciated, thanks!
