YESSSS! Finally some success. Aftermath doing a test clip.
« on: August 27, 2013, 03:05:53 PM »
Hey guys,

This morning I had something of a breakthrough. I finally managed to get pretty close to recording my live rig just how I like it! I've got a lot of work to do to get it nearer 100%, as the room I recorded in was very inappropriate for the purpose and is completely un-treated regarding sound control and acoustics, but despite that, I recorded something I am finally happy with!

Signal chain:
Agile Septor Pro (Bare Knuckle Aftermath bridge) - Boss GE7 - Digitech Bad Monkey - Jet City JCA20H - Tube Juice Attenuator - Jet City JCA24S - Shure SM7b (bass roll-off) - PreSonus Firestudio Mobile - Cubase Essential 5 - NO post EQ (these are the raw guitar tracks, nothing else!)

I doubled up the tracks, four in total, each pair panned hard left and right. One track either side is 2db lower than the other.

Any constructive advice welcome (I will already be working towards acoustic room treatment  )
