In-Ear Monitors?
« on: September 13, 2013, 01:18:07 PM »
Hey Guys,

so on the market for proper IEM's i'm considering the shure SE315 but i'm wondering if you guys know any other company that makes decent monitors that compare to the shures?

My BK's:
Black Dog8-Riff Raff8 / Black Dog7-Mule7
C-Bomb Set / Blackhawk Bridge
Holydiver Set/ BG50 Set

I am using the Shure 315s at the moment after using the previous model for quite a few years.  The current design has a superb, tough Kevlar reinforced cable (that can be swapped out right up to the ear unit) and the sound isolation is great. Can't fault the balance of the sound at the price.

As far as in ears go I'd say these are very very good.

Etymotic do some nice in ear ones too but i thought the cabling is lightweight

Got a few guitars - old to new and Boogie kit.
BKPS: Rebel Yell, Holydiver

Love old valve amps... But then I am biased!
