« on: September 14, 2013, 05:41:45 PM »
I was just wondering if any one had any experience with how the cold sweat and aftermath neck pickups compare to each other?  Been curious about this for a while now I absolutely love the cold sweat neck and cant fault it at all but this hasnt stopped me wondering about the aftermath neck as ive hard good things about it but not heard any proper clips....

Thanks in adavance

Obviously the AM neck is more powerful, therefore more sustain/compression and as far as I know it is less clear sounding and warmer/smoother.

Cool that was my impression too obviously not sure though sounds like the cold sweat is more versatile for sure and as far as im concerned it awesome still think ill be tempted to get an aftermath at some point though!

That does give me a bit of an idea actually.  From what ive heard it sounds great but the cold sweat is probably better for what I need having spoken to bkp they say the cold sweat neck is their 'best' neck pickup for a clear cutting neck pickup although the idea of the aftermath being a little darker and more powerful still seems interesting.
