Personally with black pickups I'd go for white perloid or tortoiseshell, but I think you and I have different tastes on such matters

i think the tortoise shell would look like ass on my baby blue guitar though. but i think i've decided on the black pearl guard. with all black hardware and electronics. but now i'm thinking maybe i can swap out the bridge and input jack to black too. anyone ever use these hipshots? would this fit onto my hardtail strat for the 3 screws that are on there now?

The black and nickel is a great match with the single coils!

Let us know how it sounds!

My own Stockholm P-90 is on its way somewhere between the UK and Australia ...

definitely more of a straty vibe then i expected out of the trilogys. especially with the metal baseplates but they still sound great. and the stockholm is killer. VERY height sensitive. i was kinda bummed at first with the sound, but then i noticed how low the height was. i raised it a bit and it was muuuuch better for my needs.

You installed it yourself?  Good work!  Having the wired guard should have made it all a lot easier

Yeah it was very easy.  Just had to solder the ground,  and Solder to the input Jack and that's it

P90, it's kinda like a humbucker and a single coil making a baby! Brilliant!

Like the bold but clear tones of Stockholm. The TS sound good too. Great rockaxe this way.

Spreading the P90 love! These PUs are often overlooked oh so wrongfully.

I probably wouldn't like most stock P90s on les Paul's or sgs but this may be my new favorite pickup.

I think it will probably have a slightly raspier sound in my SG Junior.

Of course I have to wait until I can get into the garage again to find out :(
