Sound clips of my new Painkiller
« on: September 29, 2013, 07:56:29 PM »
Hey everyone,

I recorded some demos of my new Painkiller pickup installed in the bridge position of my PRS Singlecut.

Here's a link to a demo of the clean tones: http://youtu.be/3XYjOZ3Z_nU

And a link to a heavy demo: http://youtu.be/wYpjdErh0Ko

I like that heavy tone. One of these days I'll get a new metal sound axe.  So maybe I'll do this I've.  Who knows.  I don't hear many people talk about this one. it's always aftermath. Or war pig.

For a mahogany guitar, I think it fits very well.  Tim recommended it when I described what I was looking for and I am very happy with it.  I feel like it could be too bright in the wrong guitar, but it works great in my Singlecut.

Cool man I'll keep that in mind if I ever look into getting one.  The only metal guitars I've ever used had emgs. 81s mostly.  Which weren't bad but they didn't stick around.  I was always curious about the bk black hawk

I almost want to buy a mahogany guitar just to drop Painkillers in, seriously
