Pickup for a LTD Alexi-600
« on: October 06, 2013, 11:32:12 PM »
I'm planning to purchase a buddy's alexi-600 flying v. adler, maple neck and ebony board with a floyd trem.

I already have a Jackson RR24 with a blackhawk and i'm looking to pair the alexi with that one for recordings/backup purposes in my Sabaton cover band.

i've been looking at these options, we're looking at something akin to a duet of guitars that complement one another. i'm running these through an mxr custom badass od and into a traynor YCS100 head with v30's.

in no particular order;

Cold Sweat
Juggernaught
Aftermath
Miracle Man
Painkiller
Alnico Blackhawk

thanks for any pointers!
My BK's:
Black Dog8-Riff Raff8 / Black Dog7-Mule7
C-Bomb Set / Blackhawk Bridge
Holydiver Set/ BG50 Set

I got a reply from Tim,

he suggested i pair my alexi with a juggernaut as it's a neckthru and the jugg will control the extra bass that comes from neck-thru construction.

will let you know what it sounds like once i actually get the guitar and pup :)
