having owned a cobra for years, I really think greenbacks is a must for that amp
not that it sounds bad with v30's, but just gets way too dry
the greenbacks make it sound full and organic
the holy diver and miracle man sounded great with that amp
probably the new juggernaut would work too
but the speakers are worth a try
if you can find a cobra cab, it's probably the best I ever played
I miss mine
Hello, ordered some eminence greenbacks (as I only use a 2x12 these days much better!)
Sounds good ill def check your suggestions out as i've never really looked at either of them tbh!
The Juggernaut seems to be the obvious choice here, especially if you like things really tight. The Holydiver may well work too but it will be somewhat fatter, smoother and not as tight as you're used to.
Def looking at the Jug, seems to describe my caveats with various pickups exactly, plus being a new pickup I can always pass it on for most the money :)
I'd say try sorting out your amp and cab first.
I found some suggestions here:

Have you considered the Painkiller pickup for the bridge? I should sit well with your neck pickup and might give you the sound you are looking for. But I'd try sorting out the amp first.
Nothing wrong with the amp or cab? I am getting greenback clones though so that will smooth it out quite a lot, hell it might fix my issues so i will hold off till after but thanks, seen that thread before, normally they just aren't playing loud enough (needs to be V.Loud to sound decent)
I've played the pk in a somewhat similar guitar with the cobra
sounds good, but I don't see the point coming from the aftermath in his case
Ya, sounds good :) but maybe a bit too similar I'll be afraid of having the same issue! Thank you though!
