The pickups on alder

Hi. Help me please select Alder guitar pickups, bolt-on neck, ebony fretboard. Pickup configuration of H-S-H. I prefer Alnico 5 magnets. Need a compromise sound between modern and vintage. Like juicy, high output sound with clear sound on a clean channel. But with all that, you can play vintage and metal (modern)
I think so. Bridge-Miracle Man-mid-Trilogy Suite-neck-Rebel Yell. How will this sound in a bundle?

The Miracle Man bridge is ceramic. As a compromise between modern and vintage it is much closer to modern. Will work great for metal but may lack a bit in the clean department.

I don't have experience with the TS. If you use the middle pickup mainly to get the in-between-position tones then I would look at the Irish Tour or Slowhand.

The Rebel Yell neck is a fine pickup but has only moderate output and will just keep up with a loud bridge pickup like the Miracle Man.

My recommendation would be Holydiver bridge - Slowhand middle w/ baseplate or Irish Tour middle w/ baseplate - Cold Sweat neck.

Ok thank you. I saw that he ceramic but speak from it balanced and not so sharp. Because admit MM bridge. HD not quite for me by example. As the CS will behave in the neck? Another look at the Black Dog in the bridge and the Crawler.

I wouldn't have thought that the small difference in rated output between the Rebel Yell and Cold Sweat would make much difference.  Agreed though there is quite a bit of difference between either and the Miracle Man neck (you wouldn't get good cleans with a MM neck though).

If it's between modern and vintage in alder, my first choice would be the Crawler. A very versatile pickup indeed. My second choice would be the Black Dog.

I do not want MiM in the neck, the only bridge. But I doubt whether the MiM on from sound too evil and modern.

Crawler neck and bridge or Crawler-bridge and neck Rebell Yell?

I am almost sure that slart referred to the Crawler bridge. I also believe that would be a good choice.

A good pickup to go with the Crawler bridge - if you don't want to go for the full set - would be the VHII neck. That would also be able to keep up in output with the Miracle Man bridge.

The VHII has more power, more bass and overall a more vintage character. It lends well to aggressive playing styles, though. The Rebel Yell neck has a friendlier overall attitude and is a bit more open sounding.

I have a Holydiver neck in with the Crawler at the moment. The Holydiver neck is closely related to the Rebel Yell neck but the lighter wind helps to give it a bit more vintage character.

This is really cool. But the PRS mahogany, alder and other specifications, and will be completely different. Here it is, I'm afraid ..

As long as the mahogany isn't too dark, the Crawler is one of those unusual pickups that works really well in both mahogany and alder. It will give alder much more meat to its tone and be extremely rich. It certainly won't sound worse than mine just because yours is alder.

OK, thx. But I meant the neck))) Crawler in bridge. In the Middle put the Irish tour. Remains with the neck issue resolved. RB or VHII or HD. As the Emerald will behave in the neck?
