Hello everyone , I have just discovered BKP in a search to find new pups for my Ibanez RGD2120Z Prestige . This guitar is a couple years old and Ibanez no longer makes the prestige in a 6 string model . I love the way this guitar plays , but have never been happy with the pups . The guitar has a 25.5 scale and comes from the factory set-up 1 step down in D standard . I set it up for drop C and use a string gauge of 11 - 54 . Now for the good part , I want a great set of passive pups that favor my low to mids but also keeps the highs clear . I can hear the tone I'm looking for , but find it hard to explain so I guess I'm really interested in finding a set of well rounded metal pups . I play covers as well as my own stuff and have been playing stuff from bands like Lamb of God , Killswitch Enagage , etc. I'd really like to hear from BKP owners who use the pups that fit what I am looking for .
