In the nicest possible way ive got time for what any one says on here its all relative and personal and I value everyones opinion but asking you pair ^ about the nailbomb kinda seems like asking Hitler who his top 10 Jews were.

This is the first time that I can recall on this forum that someone has posted an abusive comment about another member  :( As I am one of the two contributors above your post, I assume you're aiming 50% of your remark at me so I will take this opportunity to defend myself.

1) When I comment on the Nailbomb, I do so from personal experience and consequently, I believe my view is as valid as anybody else on here. Would you rather I ignore my personal experience? Should I check with you first before expressing an opinion?

2) While the A-Bomb didn't work for me last time, I did say that it was a great pickup and would certainly work in a different guitar. To that end, I have suggested people consider the Nailbomb a number of times, including on this thread.

3) A number of people on my review of the Nailbomb commented that my description of the pickup was accurate and reflected their own experience. Again, proof that it will work in some guitars but not in others and that my view of the pickup is a valid one.

4) In the New Year I will be buying another A-Bomb for myself because I think I now have a guitar that will suit it better than the Jackson did. This is hardly the action of a man with a pathological hatred of the Nailbomb!

I can't speak for Agent Orange but for myself, I find your comparison of me to Hitler and his hatred of Jewish people to be highly offensive. I see nothing 'nice' in such a comment at all.

Sorry it wasnt meant to be serious or cause offence.  Maybe Mel Gibson would have been better than Hitler?  It was a jokey analogy and with a bit of dark humour not an attack on any one.  In all seriousness I dont have a go at people or attack in general but particularly over the internet as that would be very very sad.  If my (Poor) sense of humour offends I apologize but seriously I wasnt having a go.

I wasnt saying you couldnt give an opinion I was just balancing it out its like if there was a post about the say the miracle man or holy diver I dont dislike them them but they dont really speak to me and if I posted my thoughts on them on most threads im sure some one would eventually say something.  If just seems like if you two always say you dont like it people willhave to try and balance it out.

Any way more importantly I was joking so sincere apologies.

OK, fair enough. This forum is the only one I'm generally active on these days because it's the one that is most 'adult' and knowledgeable and where I feel most 'at home' so I'm happy to accept that no offence was intended. Perhaps I over-reacted a bit myself in my response. You're right - as soon as I read 'Mel Gibson' I had a far better understanding of what you meant and he clearly doesn't carry the same negative connotations. S**t happens, we're all friends so let's move on  :D

Yeah, I'm pretty much in agreement with Slarti about what we have said/thought about the A-Bomb (I thought I was being positive regarding the neck pickup?) but yeah I'm pretty offended to be discussed in the same breath as Hitler unless it involves me killing him with my own bare hands.  One of the first songs I learned to play was 'Nazi Die' and I've been very close to becoming a full Antifa so yeah I guess you could say that I have no sense of humour when it comes to Hitler and his supporters.  I feel the same way about KKK jokes too, in case anyone's interested.
