...you are watching - ahem - a "relaxing art film" where a lady is "relaxing" a gentleman and you spot a guitar on a stand in the background and go "Ooh! that looks like an R9!" and then proceed to ignore the main action and instead try to scroll forwards and backwards through the film trying to get a better look at the guitar.

Time for some kind of professional help.

Is this a hypothetical situation you've dreamed up, or do you have "a friend" it actually happened to?


I wouldn't have thought the budget of those films would extend to an R9 - maybe an old Hondo II or a Columbus LP copy. 

Or maybe the guitar in question just happened to be in a house they were filming in....

It was a real situation and it was me shamelessly watching the film. For research purposes of course. The couple in question have a very successful site so I'm certain it's an R9. My main observation here is that the GAS compulsion appears to be stronger than the sex drive, which defies conventional psychological knowledge based on years of research. Had there been a Mesa Boogie Mark 4 in the same video I may have lost it all together.
