They are great. You can ear them in this topic: https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=31136.0

I will post some records in "real situation" as soon as I have some time to do them.

Got my Mules on Friday and installed them in my Eclipse I last night. First impressions are that they have a real dirty sound to them, not dirty in the way of loads of mains hum and noise, etc,  but dirty like the sort of young lady that you might see in some American movies, you know, the blonde girl who lives in the trailer park . If I was being super critical, I would perhaps want a tad more presence but I suppose that then this would hide some of that grit and you would just end up a pair of Riff Raffs.

Hmm, I never thought of Mules as 'dirty'. I rather use descriptions like refined, complex and balanced.

When I say "dirty" I'm refering to the grit when driving an amp hard. My experience with hotter, more modern sounding pickups is that when driven hard the amp saturates while with the same gain, the Mules break up really nicely without saturating, giving a nice gritty overdrive.

Ok bro, got you!  :)  They're fantastic. I used them for clean to (classic) rock.
