Bye Bye Devi
« on: December 08, 2013, 10:51:52 AM »
Apparently getting out of the business

http://www.ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=149&t=34645&sid=f180e5826104a0997b51f50b3d230b6f&start=90#p732718

Was never her biggest fan, didn't like the pedals or her personally from what I've seen of her remarks around the forums, but she did have original ideas and integrity.

Shame people like that pack it in but we still have people like JHS..

Gotta be honest, I have never heard of this person or the brand.

I was just curious who'd gone bye bye.  On the bright side, it seems no-one has died.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Shame, I heard the best things about her stuff. To me it was only a matter of time until I would have gotten at least one of her pedals and then, since I am a poor student, build myself some more, but now I guess only the second part will hold up. Legend of Fuzz, you´re next =)

She's selling on to another as yet to be named pedal company, so the circuits will still be produced i guess

But one of the appeals of her was that she really was a good person. You know one of the guys you gladly buy from. Of course we will have to see, but that may change now.

She was honest, although this mismanagement of funds thing is disappointing. Saying that at least she had the nuts (no sly jab intended) to take ownership of her mistakes. Lot of people out there wouldn't

It's a shame, her stuff is cool.  I've got (or have had) 3 of her pedals, a Godzilla Fuzz (which was quite mild, and I gave to my brother in law) a Hyperion, which is on my board currently, and a Punch Love, which is a boost/treble boost and has been on my board for years.

She always included lollipops or chewing gum when she sent pedals out.

She's cool.

Looks like Dwarfcraft Devices are taking over.

Couldn't you get her pedals from different builders? She licensed them out didn't she?

Not sure about licensing but she sold kits.
