bright neck pickups

Seeing as I started this, I should add in what has actually been deleted when the site crashed.

I actually went for the Nailbomb neck, which is about as bright as my Cold Sweat neck.  You can see my Explorer with its chrome Nailbomb neck in my avatar.

... but the best is the Holydiver neck model. Bright, clear, has fantastic cleans and takes loads of gain. It's a light wind and has a remarkable musicality about it. For a pickup that looks modern, it has a surprisingly PAF feel about it.

+1 to all of that, the HD neck is a great pickup as far as a neck humbucker goes.
