Oh yes, it's gonna look cute with the new guard on it. The white one doesn't quite do it for me.

That new one looks a lot like the ones they were putting on the 60s Roadworns when I got mine a few years back.

could not wait for the cap to arrive. Installed an old bee cap that I also like and put on the new PG. It now looks and sounds great. Pics coming...

thanks buddy! I agree.

BTW the 0.01 uF bee sounds great (it has drifted upwards slightly, it now reads 0.015 exactly). My guitar is quite thick sounding so a lower value makes a lot sense to help with tone, especially in positions 2 and 4. Quack-king!

Raw Vintage. IMO well worth the money!

Never even thought about putting a mint scratch plate into my '62 reissue until I saw this! And now I must have one!! :)

  When I got my Robert Cray Strat, about 6 or 7 years ago, you said:

I hope I can get a nice guitar like that for my 80th birthday! PDT_008

When's your 81st?  :P

HA!

Damn your eyes (and elephantine memory!!) ;)

I said before that an Olympic White Strat with a minty pickguard was among my favourite things and I'm not about to change my mind now. That looks great.
