Maple body guitar pickups advice

I have a ESP S/S/H all maple body and ebony fretboard guitar with EMG SA/SA/85, I feel it sound too bright , and high mids is too much but lack of bass, so I'm thinking to upgrade pups, please help suggestion which pups is able to solve this problem.

Yeah, good recommendations. The OP needs something beefy with a round upperregister. The combo maple/ebony makes this guitar quite bright and percessive. Now we like to know the musicstyle and the amp.

 Probably Alnico warpigs . Alnico V definitely gonna have that smooth low end .

Well, if you follow the suggestion of a Warpig in the bridge I would recommend a pair of the Sinner bridge model pickups with the baseplate option as the only single coils likely to stack up against it in terms of output.

There are reviews of these pickups here somewhere combined with the Miracle Man in the bridge.  The reviews are all in the topic sticky at the top of the Pickups forum

I'm not sure what you would pair with a Crawler, probably Irish Tours, but I haven't heard those

IT and Slowhand both pair very well with the Crawler. Both have enough mids and warmth to not fall off too hard. Between them the Slowhand of course is the more hotter, fuller and warmer one of the two.

The Miracle Man also works well in a maple guitar as it has a nice fat low mid.
Although it will still be crunchy in a George Lynch kind of way.

to FELINEGUITARS: According the tone chart of The Miracle Man, it seems a brighter pup?
to gwEm: I thought the ceramic pickups are brighter than Alnico, so why maple generally loves ceramic pickups?
Other questions are:
Crawler or Alnico Warpig which one is warmer and has more bass?
The sinner seems very high output single coil pup, is it sounds like humbucker or P90?
And Irish tour, the Sinner and Slowhand of neck pup which one is warmer?

The alnico Warpig would have more bass.  I can't say which would be warmer.  I dare say that the Warpig is darker.

If you are more inclined toward metal I would go for the Sinner/Warpig combo

For more blues or rock sound I would go for Slow Hand/Crawler combo.

thats a good question. i don't have a technical answer for it, but the ceramic+maple combination does something in the mid-range which is really funky. i have a few ceramic+maple guitars now.

it depends if you like that sort of tone though of course. i had an alnico warpig in a all maple guitar and it did work well sounded good, i wasnt quite happy though and just seemed to come alive with the ceramic.

ceramic does give the highs and upper mids "more sizzle" if you like (an expression from Feline guitars). but it can also emphasise other frequencies including the bass - generally you loose the very very lowest  bass frequencies with ceramic, which tightens the sound and I think can be a good thing. but the bass frequencies above the mud/sludge level remain just as strong.

so thats why i made the ceramic warpig suggestion - strong but tight bass response. not so much treble. the upper mids are lively though, especially in the maple guitar. its not a bright pickup, i would say dark-balanced. it is darker than a miracle man, which i would say is balanced. the alnico warpig is for sure a dark voiced pickup - but not so it goes too far.

A less hefty combo, but still excellent for metal, would be a Miracle Man/Trilogy-set and change the pots to 250k or perhaps even lower.

This is true, we don't know the sound, it could be anything from AC-DC, to Saxon, to Metallica to Dokken :)
