Hey guys I was just making this thread to get some feedback as to wether It is suitable to throw the emerald on the neck with the black hawk ceramic on the bridge? The guitar I am wishing to do this with is my Ibanez RG1451 Prestige Night crow finish and at the moment its just the default pickups that are actually potential for what you buy PDT_003 Point being, I'm looking for a sound that has some great metal sounds and tone to the likes of fellow aussies, Northlane and Parkway drive... So kind of caught between djent and hardcore is the sound and I hear good things about the black hawk, especially in basswood bodied guitars. I also have a single coil between the neck and bridge but I'm not too savvy on what to do with it yet. And finally the Emerald is the cleans that I look for and think would be a great contrast on the guitar yeah? So yay or nay people? Think it'll work?
