split pick ups in a B.C. Rich Beast Bass?
« on: February 24, 2014, 01:06:43 AM »
I'm looking to get the 58 split coil p put into my Beast but I'm unsure what I should put into the bridge pick up slot.
Should I put another 58 in or a 65 split coil p?

The pick ups in my bass are the stock standard bc rich active split coil pickups.

I've had the 58 for many years in my P-Bass and think it is a great pickup.  My bass is a 66, and I replaced the original weaker pickup with the BK.  My recommendation is to stick with the 58.
So many pickups, so little time

Thanks for the recommendation. I forgot to add in my initial question though that I am already sold about getting the 58 but since I have the 2 stock BC RICH split coils should I get two 58's or one 58 and a 65 and if so where would be best placed for them?
