KXM - Sounds interesting

Add one part Lynch Mod, one part King's X and one part Korn.  Give it a good shake and you get this:

KXM George Lynch, Doug Pinnick (Kings X) Ray Luzier (Korn) OFFICIAL TRAILER

Very interested to hear the full album...

Hmmm, I'm always a bit dubious about these "projects".  Some work, some don't.

The Mob with Reb Beach and Doug Pinnick, sounded great in theory but the album was pretty awful.
Supershine with Doug Pinnick and Bruce Franklin, that was OK.
MD.45 with Dave Mustaine and Lee Ving, the original version of that album was great.
The Winery Dogs with Riche Kotzen and Billy Sheehan, haven't heard it but I'm interested....
Forty Deuce, again with Kotzen, that was bloody brilliant.

There must be more...
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds

MOST don't.

The Jelly Jam
Transatlantic
Flying Colors
OSI
Mullmuzzer

... these are the first recent projects that spring to mind.

Technically, all of the Ayreon and Star One albums fall into this category as well, and they are all brilliant.

Really depends how you define "Supergroup"

Vai's Sex & Religion
Black Country Communion
Down
The Haunted
Primal Fear
Velvet Revolver
Chickenfoot

... could somehow fit that label.

That music (KXM) sounded ok, but not that exciting. I just listened to some Winery Dogs and that just sounded/felt a lot better.
Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog

How could I forget.... Spiritual Beggars.

They're one of my favourite bands, but I don't really enjoy Michael Amott's "day job" Arch Enemy.
