Further to my PM the other day. Ill be that guy that recommends the EMG alternative as its something BKP dont do. The Het set particularly.

Also the duncan fullshred is the tightest most in your face duncan i've tried. More so than the black winters.

Fair play.  Cheers.  Whatever I decide im staying passive for now because ive bought a cold sweat neck.  If im not absolutely madly in love with it ill give different things a try until its perfect but im reluctant to $%&# about with a 3k les paul though re actives etc having said that though if I run out of option I would do.

I have a Painkiller in my PRS Singlecut, and I think it fits what you're looking for.  It definitely has chunk and plenty of guts.  It stays tight under any amount of gain.  I have some clips of it both clean and distorted here:

Your links dont seem to work for me but cheers any way.  I might well have seen you clips any way as I checked out a load from youtube.

In any case ive bought it any way I remembered I had some points have up with coda music so I got a load knocked off.
