When I listened to it last night I was, ironically, falling asleep.... hence my uncharacteristically brief comment.

It's not quite what I would've expected - surprisingly melodic and accessible.  Almost, dare I say, quite slick sounding!  But bloody hell, it really is good.

Does this mean a new album, or are we strictly in the individual-track digital domain which I'm still struggling to come to terms with?

Pike has been using a pair of Lespaul supremes live recently but he likes his McInturff in the studio. He's joint at the hip to his SLO100 (often paired with a KK800 or other amp of the week) but who knows what that track was done with.

Heavy as $%&#, love it :D great guitar tone, dense is the word I'd use to describe it. Need to start listening to more of this kinda stuff again.

I've just heard a track off the new Electric Wizard album as well and it's so gut crushingly heavy.
