a question about nailbomb on neck
« on: July 23, 2014, 12:08:40 PM »
i would like to buy alnico nailbomb for my new used explroer gothic
now i do not like brdige is too open and undefinied but the neck is ok
does the nailbomb is too much high gain for the neck position?
IO have a evh mini with some clean headroom problem i don't want to saturate it with a big pick up output

is better to have cover or uncovered nailbombs for a metal sound mostly rithm?

You should seriously consider the Rebel Yell set for this guitar.  Explorers are where they excel and a Nailbomb may be too dark.  The RY has a very tight low end and your guitar in itself will provide more than enough lows
