The Emerald neck is not bright. The EQ charts are bridge only.

The Emerald BRIDGE is bright.  There is a strong contrast between the two pickups.

Slartibartfast42 (author that review) used a Emerald neck with a Holy Diver in the end with great success.

I have to reiterate that you check what pots n caps you have. No pick up will hit it's potential otherwise.

Abraxas is a darker pup set, could be just what you want, like a PAF with more mids. Crawler also is more dark sounding, probably fatter than the Abraxas.
BKP: Abraxas - Les Paul
Holy Diver - Charvel
Mule - Les Paul
Rebel Yell - Les Paul
VHII - PRS CU22
Emerald - Les Paul

The problem usually arises on Gibsons, which often come with 300K volume pots

In fact I'm looking for a fat PAFish sound, darker than CS
For exemple, I have Holydiver also in a Jackson and because of woods it sounds darker than Holydiver on Charvel; I mean Charvel tend to be a bright guitar. Otherwise in my amp it's easier correcting dark sound than bright, so I think it's not a risk choosing a dark pick up like Crawler (or Emerald or Abraxas)

Crawler: after Telerocker advice I checked specification and samples on the web and it seems to me very interesting for my purpose. On BKP site is written "Although Geoff wanted contemporary power from the bridge, the Crawler neck humbucker is voiced like a vintage PAF, open and vowel-like, with a calibrated wind to balance in output."

What about Abraxas neck?

The Abraxas neck is very similar to the Crawler neck, but just a little brighter.  Based on what you've said so far I'd lean towards the Crawler.

The Mule, Abraxas and Crawler neck models are all from the same "family", Alnico IV magnet and DC resistance of 7 point something.  The Emerald neck also has the AIV magnet but with different wire so the DC resistance is higher, although I doubt it's actually much "hotter" than the other three.  I believe Slartibartfast42 compared the Crawler and Emerald neck models in one of his reviews already mentioned.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Here is the Crawler in neck position. In basswood. Tuned to Eb.
For me the crawler is pretty bassy and can pierce if attacked aggressive
