Eya :-)

I'm spending most of my online time at another forum at the minute (where's the embarrassed emoticon gone?) but thought I'd come and show this off as I'm rather pleased with it :-)

How do the pickups sound?  They always remind me of P90's in the way they look.

Nice guitar, btw.
So many pickups, so little time

How are you getting on with the Pharaoh, Don?

I like that a great deal

And I like the surgery you performed. Thanks again for that

I did alot of reading whilst it was in transit and people over on tgp mostly compare it to a "Tele on steroids" which I'm assuming means an overwound Tele and G&L themselves describe it as somewhere between a JM and p90. But I'm not sure either of those are very accurate. It's definitely its own thing.

Initial thoughts are that they are $%&#ing bright and high output but really quiet. hi-fi isn't a bad description - almost piezo like with the tone pot maxed, which is where the trick seems to be. Knock the tone down 20% and it starts acting more like a normal guitar. They seem to love fuzz and I really really like 'em

These describe it better than I can  :afro:

Hey Lew

I did have a pedal fest a week or so ago but I really need to take my gear to a rehearsal room to try everything at gig levels. There is no doubt that the Pharaoh is cool with it many options but I have to find the one that works best for my rig.

If you get shot let me know. That one sounded a little different to the one in my Coven.
