Combi microwaves

So I've been looking at micro apartments on the internet and discovered combi microwaves, are they a viable replacement to a traditional oven?
All I use ovens for are cooking frozen pizza and breaded chicken fillets so the only downside I can see is a full roast dinner

On the negative side you might struggle making cakes in a combi microwave.

Turns out you can do a full roast in a combi microwave, some guy did it on youtube but he forgot the yorkshire puds, that's the best part!!!

We got one after replacing a standard microwave that was donkey's years old
The oven/grill is a nice supplement to the microwave part - nice to do crispy baked potatoes a bit quicker but after a year with it is no replacement for a proper oven. 99% of the time it's in microwave only mode.
To use it like a grill you have a ridiculous stand to lift stuff up.. It can also get very hot outside in combi mode
Ok as student or small single person flat type product but not for a weekly roast or meal for more than two
I'd buy what I have again for the 12 minute baked spuds though

I've got one but I only use it as a microwave, it's too small to use as a proper oven plus there's the hassle of cleaning etc.
In contrast, I use my "normal" oven just about every day (I realise you may not have space for a big oven).

What is this cleaning thing you speak of? As a student (a mature one at that) I only do cleaning when there is a flat inspection or I want to get my deposit back
I even managed to take out the glass recycling only once by dedicating a shelf of my kitchen space to empty peanut butter jars

I'm not a great one for cleaning, believe me!
But things cooking in ovens tend to spit, which doesn't bother me at all in a big oven - plenty of space to distribute the spatter - but in a little combi thing it really does need to be cleaned up.
