Pick ups - No idea which ones.

OK.  I have 2 PRS's.  A Custom 22 and a CE 22.  I changed the Dragon 2s a few years back for BK Mules.  I wanted a more open PAF sound - and there great.  I kept the HFS/VB PUs in the CE.  That CE is my more "instrumental Rock" guitar but hadnt been getting that much use as the Mules could be made to work with the right amp settings as well.

Fast forward, and Ive decided I need a Floyd in the "instrumental" guitar.  Despite looking to Sell the PRS and pick up something more appropriate, its proven fruitless (can find right quality/colour in my price range) so am having a Floyd "retro-fitted" to the CE.  I need new PUs as the spacing will be different (I think - please correct me if Im wrong) once the Floyd is fitted - the CE has a standard PRS Trem.  If I dont need to swop PUs then fine - but if I do, I want something that will suit the guitar and its intended use.

I dont need anything seriously powerful, as I have plently of ways of driving the amp. I am down to 3 potential PUs - based on the Mules specs and these PU specs.

Crawlers - possibly the neck PU is too close to the Mules in the CU.  I want a little more power and some smoothness for neck soloing.
Holydivers
Cold sweats.

The HDs seem to be closest to the HFS/VB in power, and the CSs may be a little light int he mids/high in trebble - so Im hedging towards the HDs.  Thaqt is purly on the "EQ graphs" and DC resistances on BKs PU pages though - and doesnt take into account guitar or useage particularly.

So - thoughts from the initiated?

Oh - specs/description on the PRS PUs (if it helps at all) HFS is 15K DC, with clear highs, strong midrange, strong bass and aggression.   VB is 8.5K DC with warm high mids.

I have a Crwler in the bridge of my PRS EG (which is also a bolt on neck), it works great there, but I've paired it with 2 BKP 90's.  I might be tempted to put a Mississippi Queen in the neck with the bridge crawler, I think it would be an awesome combo, though you would lose some of the 5 way splits.  I've got Cold Sweats in a BC Rich Mockingbird and like them there but given what you say about not needing powerful, I would be looking at Emeralds.  They are a very underrated pickup.  Holydivers will give you more bottom end and a bit more push, but I like the harmonics and tone of the Emeralds.
So many pickups, so little time

Crawlers or Divers. Both have the mids to create majestic solotones. Crawler sounds a bit fuller in direct comparison, the Diver has not a huge lowend, but in the CE that could be a good thing to keep thing tight. The Diver sounds more modern than the Crawler, which has still enough PAF-pedigree to sound like a big Mule on steroids. The neck-Crawler is one of the warmest in the BKP-line. It doesn't have the flat eq the Mule-neck has. It's fuller in the mids. Both will do, it's just a matter of taste which set you pick.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.
