hi guys there,I am going to change my stock pu of Gibson 1958 RI because I'm not interested in vintage sound.By looking at others review I decide to get A-bomb in bridge and a rebel yell in neck.I have mailed BKP and Ben suggest that a cold sweat in the neck cause it is slightly stronger and fatter than the rebel yell. Thanks a lot for his advice. But after looking at the review I am a bit confused, someone says that it may be too much bottom in a les paul and it may sound mid scooped,is that a problem?
The style I play include EVH,GNR,Ozzy, linkin park, nightwish and metallica, maybe some ACDC and some solos like marty Friedman.I always use neck for solo and bridge for rythm. The amps are soldano and engl blackmore.
So is cold sweat a better choice than rebel yell for the style I play and fit well in a les paul? Thanks a lot!
