Yeah, a safe bet would be an Abraxas/Mule-combo.

I wouldn't try splitting a low output 'bucker like the Mule - might sound quite thin. Crawlers are known to split very well. FWIW the Crawler neck is mostly a slightly overwound Abraxas neck (which is itself an overwound Mule neck).  But you might find the Crawlers a bit on the fat side unless your guitar is bright and possibly a bit lacking in the low-end department (now you may like the Crawler's fatness too).

While we're at it, you can also consider the serie/parallel option instead of a split - gives you a similar tone (less mids, less outputs, more highs) with still some body left (due to having both coil capturing the string's vibration) and you keep the hum bucking effect (which does'nt require coils to be wire serial).
Agreed, I have a series/parallel on my 10th Anniversaries and it's a good alternative for tonal versatility for low output pickups.

So that's my final choice, I'll make you guys know my impressions about the combo.

Thanks a lot everyone!

Finally, yesterday I picked up my guitar with my new BK combo, and I can only say... WOW

The result has completely exceeded my expectations. I can't imagine a pickup that suits better to this guitar (and my way of playing, of course) than Abraxas bridge. Is hot enough to play even metal (nothing to do with the PRS#7), deep but clear and defined, not sharp at all (it has a great mellow cleans too), and respects the tone of the guitar in spite of being a quite hot pickup.

And what can I say about the mule neck?? This pickup just blew my away, probably one of the best les paul neck sound that I've heard. Veeeery deep, but not too bassy and with the right amount of highs/mids to not sound dark or muddy, sounds amazing both with cleans and distortion, and can handle perfectly a high gain amp.

The coil split is not very impressive though, but I think the overall sound of the combo worth this lack

There is a way of tapping - rather than splitting - a humbucker that Kiichi goes on about.  I can't remember the details because I've never actually done it but it seems quite simple and involves resistors.  He's used it on a Rebel Yell

Yes, that's the old PRS DGT wiring - it's just a resistor between the green+white connection and ground. PRS used 1k on the neck pickup and 3.3k on the bridge pickup.

Tapping might indeed improve things, but in general splitted humbuckers never touch the magic of genuine singecoil-tones. That's why we own LP's and strats.
