Sparkly NGD :)
« on: October 06, 2014, 11:25:59 AM »
I saw this hanging on a wall a couple of weeks ago, and it seemed to stick in my head.  So, on Saturday I went for a look and, out of the kindness of my heart, I've given it a new home :)

Those Charvels are very nice guitars in that pricerange. Normally they come around in black, white, blue and red. This looks absolutely georgeous. Too bad it hasn't a rosewood or ebony fretboard. That would make it the icing on the cake for me.

I like that very much. To make it perfect I feel there should be only one pickup though. A neck pickup in a hotrod Strat opens the user up to the temptation of playing ballads and that will never do. ;)

I've always loved Charvels and that one is a belter. Great score.

PS Nice bedspread.

I can't see the bloody pictures on my work computer.

But I gather it's not a Les Paul.

Thanks, I'm very happy with it :)

a friend got one in a lovely gold finish a couple of years ago, it was great.  Every one I've seen since has been very dull, black or white or red.  Saw this and could not resist!  I'm glad it's a maple board, to me they should be maple.

I like sparkly things, and I like superstrats.  You need one to balance your Les Pauls!

The Duncans aren't bad, I'll leave them in a while to see what I think.  I'm sure the right set of Bareknuckles would make it even better

Ah, now I can see it!

I certainly like the way it looks, I wouldn't mind a Tele in that colour!

I don't think I've ever owned a sparkly guitar, apart from a Squier Super-Sonic.

Sparkletastic. Yes indeed, that is lovely and like Mr W, I also dig the bed spread. I'd like to have a gig shirt similar to that.
