My first BKP's
« on: October 19, 2014, 12:04:36 PM »
Finally took the plunge and fitted some mules to my 2010 traditional.  First let me say that while there was nothing intrinsically wrong with the 57 Classic/Classic +, the Mules outshine them in every area - cleans are more sparkly, and vibrant, overdriven tones sound meatier, and they are just sooooo much more responsive to pick dynamics.

I'm pretty sure I want A-Bombs for my V, and am still thinking about what to get for my Dot.  Wonder if I can sneak them thru befor She Who Must Be Obeyed cuts off the money supply, haha.

Yeah, Mules are the dog's bollocks. Just fabulous pickups.
I would look at Cold Sweats for your V with all that mahogany.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

A-Bomb is good fun!!  I'd be interested to try a Riff Raff / Mule combo in a LP!

Enjoy them! I love the mules and I am mainly a metal/lead player. They are fantastic and versatile pick ups.
