If anyone is interested, there is a competition that has just been announced. I have mixed views of these things but I might write something- at my time of life I have nothing to lose. Here is the link in case you are interested- it appears to be for UK residents only though I have not gone into the finer detail.

we should do a BKP joint-entry co-written by us lots here, don't know how we'd work it but it might be possible - anyone?

I tell you what I'd love to do - an album done by BKP forum members, with exclusively BKP pickups. Parts and compositions could be sent to each other over the internet, and then bits could be recorded in different locations and mixed together. I'd really love to be a part of something like that.

thats a well good idea, we could use a different set of bkps for each song on a rather large album and take over the world in a BK style  manner!!!!!!!!

ok so maybe not the world domination bit....

The best thing for a BKP album would be to write ,  say, 8 songs. That means there would be more chances for more people to contribute. For the compo, however, it would be better to submit a personal entry- they are not looking for virtuosity, they are looking at songwriting, With a BKP album we could set our own agenda- Tim ( as if he hasn't got enough to do) could be exec producer. A couple of us in the forum are bass players- worth a thought.

I think it'd be a great project for us users, but also something good for BKP publicity too.

I got dibs on some of the distorted VHII work

I'm gonna have to do some Warpig clips - if we could blag some recording time and really record them properly it would be amazing.  I seem to remember a forum member here who works in a studio (lots of pix were posted)

That would be Brow!

There's a lot of MM users in here though! Mind you i do have two Trilogy Suites as well. We could just make a huge track to accommodate everyone with loads of guitar solos like a G3 jam but G10 or something! Each player could hang on a sustained note at the end of their part and the next guy comes in on that note and goes off on one lol
Warpig, MQ,
Miracle Man-Trilogy Suite, Cold Sweats, Black Guards, Rebel Yells & Irish Tours!
