My strat and the bridge pickup..

I've currently got a set of VHII's with an Irish Tour in the middle, which is absolutly great for such a wide range of styles but i was playing my friends ESP KH2 with EMG's in the otherday and fluidity of those high gain monsters is a really appealing, but I absolutly love the warmth of the VHII's in the neck and the Irish Tour is amazing, just wondering what bridge pickup would be a good swap out for the VHII to give that kinda sound/fluid high gain monstrosity.

Probably the best compromise between the two would be a Cold Sweat. It's got tons of clarity, but crunches nicely with a lot of gain, too. You can get a really thick tone out of it, as well, depending on the mass of your guitar.

If you want to get close to the sound of your mate's ESP, try a Miracle Man.

I assumed (probably incorrectly) that since he already owns a VHII set that he was seeing VHII at one extreme, and something like the Miracle Man or Warpig at the other. I split the difference and came up with the Cold Sweat.
